This is a great healthy treat for kids or adults who want a dessert without artificial or excess sugars.

CranApple Mixture:

3-5 apples or about 1 1/2 lbs (peeled, cored, chopped)
1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Grain Free Topping:

1 cup shredded coconut
1 tablespoon kerry gold or organic butter
3 tablespoons tapioca starch or arrowroot
2 tablespoons coconut flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
pinch sea salt

Preheat oven to 350F. In a small saucepan over low heat combine honey, coconut oil and spices to melt and mix thoroughly. Pour above mixture over the apples and cranberries and toss to combine. Spread the fruit in a glass corning wear bowl or 8x8 baking dish. In a small bowl mix all the topping ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle evenly over fruit and bake for 35-40 minutes or until fruit is soft and juices are bubbling and topping is browned and crips. Allow to cool 10-15 minutes and serve warm.
