Your first appointment with Dr. Heather Boyd-Roberts is an opportunity to start building a personalized partnership for your health. During this comprehensive visit, Dr. Heather will:

  • Discuss your health goals and expectations
We’ll begin by understanding what brought you here and what you hope to achieve in your health journey.

This includes your current health concerns, past medical history, and family medical history to get a complete picture of your wellness.

  • Evaluate your current lifestyle and dietary habits
Dr. Heather will take the time to understand how your daily choices may be contributing to your overall health.

  • Review lab results from other providers
If you bring past lab results, we’ll go over them together to ensure we have all the relevant information about your health.

  • Order any necessary lab work or functional assessments
If additional lab work is needed to gain more insight into your health, Dr. Heather will recommend the appropriate tests.

  • Outline the next steps
At the end of your visit, we’ll schedule your follow-up appointment to review all findings and work together to create a personalized health plan tailored to your needs.

She does not offer routine care such as annual physicals, gynecological exams, or emergency care, and she does not have hospital-admitting privileges.

We recommend that all patients maintain a designated primary care physician for these needs. Dr. Heather is happy to collaborate with your primary care provider to create a comprehensive health plan that supports your individual goals and addresses your ongoing health challenges.

To ensure that lab tests are appropriate and relevant to your health concerns, it is necessary for her to meet with you during your initial visit.
