Protein Shake for Gut Healing

Use your blender to mix all the ingredient you are using and then pour into a blender bottle for the day. You can also add ice. This is a great replacement for Ensure or other meal replacement when extra calories are needed or are needing to replace a meal.

If you are needing to gain weight use the full portions. If you are needing to lose weight or maintain your weight then use 2 tbls of avocado, and choose Native forest coconut milk lite. You will still be getting plenty of healthy fats in the MCT/Butyrate blend. The first 4 ingredients are the base. You can mix and match fruit, add in bone broth powder or greens to add nutrients.

Blueberry Banana Smoothie

MCT/Butyrate 1 tbls
Avocado 1/3
PurePaleo, vanilla 1 scoop
Native Forest Coconut Milk 1/3 cup
Frozen Bananas 1/2
Frozen Blueberries 1/2 to 1 cup
Lactoprime 1 cap (optional, or other probiotic you have been prescribed)

Blend in mixed with ice.

This recipe contains 551 calories, 24 grams of protein, 34.9 grams carbohydrates, 39 grams of fat. The fat is primarily monounsaturated and short chain fatty acids which are needed for intestinal mucosal healing and brain health.
