Garlic Toasts, Gluten free

This is as simple as can be and makes a nice addition to any soup or salad. We have varying taste buds in my house and to my whole family isn't ready to go grain free, so I can make a veggie chicken soup and then add garlic toast for them very simply without making multiple meals.

Food For Life Brown Rice Bread or other gluten free bread of choice
*Pasture Butter
Garlic sea salt

Directions:

Preheat the oven to the broil setting. Butter the bread. Sprinkle garlic sea salt on top. If you are a spicy garlic lover you can use a garlic press and squeeze a fresh clove onto the surface of your bread and spread it around. Then sprinkle garlic salt on top. For me it usually depends on how much time I have. Place bread on cooling rack that has been set inside a cookie sheet. This raises the bread and allows the air to circulate around it while cooking. This gives it more of a toast taste because it's drier on the bottom. If you place it on the cookie sheet the bottom with be soft. Once your bread is prepared, wait until you are about to sit down and eat and then place it in the oven. It only takes a few minutes to cook.

Serve with Minestrone soup and topped with Dairy Free Pesto.

* Pasture butter comes from pasture fed cows. Organic butter means it comes from cows that were fed organic grains. The ideal butter comes from cows that have been grazing in the field eating many greens throughout the day and using grains only for supplemental feeding when absolutely necessary.
